Leadership Institute
New
Direction Leadership Institute (NDLI) offers educational
opportunities for discipleship and leadership growth. NDLI
offers 7 week classes. Courses offered will follow three
tracks: Spiritual, Life Skills and Professional. The next scheduled NDLI Classes will be scheduled for September 2008.
COURSE
DESCRIPTIONS
Christian
Boot Camp:
Do you know without a doubt that you are going to heaven?
Do you know without a doubt if you are forgiven of wrongs
(sin) you commit(ted)? Do you forgive others easily? Do
you know without a doubt if you are filled with the Holy
Spirit? Do you know without a doubt when you pray that your
prayer will be answered? If you answered “no”
to any of these questions this class is for you!
Get
Off Your Assets:
You are sitting on your most precious assets and don’t
even realize it. God has given you some valuable assets
to make your life prosperous. This class will help you learn
what those assets are, and how you can use them to be a
blessing and receive blessings.
Sharing
Your Faith:
This class prepares the believer for becoming an effective
soul winner! Learn how to lead a person to Christ, when
to share your personal testimony. How the two work hand
in glove.
Finding
Your Fit in Ministry:
This class addresses the types and categories of spiritual
gifts 1) Charismatic gifts, 2) Team/Task gifts and 3) Miracle
gifts. The believer will learn which gifts s/he possesses,
the significance of the gifts and how the gifts fit specific
ministries within NDCC.
Who
is the Holy Spirit?:
This class addresses 1) roles and responsibilities of the
Holy Spirit, 2) walking in the anointing of the Holy Spirit,
and 3) indwelling and baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Prerequisite:
Christian Boot Camp).
Spiritual
Discipline 1:
Learning God: This class addresses the spiritual disciplines
of 1) prayer, 2) fasting, and reading/studying. Learn how
to effectively communicate with God, hear from God, receiving
guidance from God and receiving revelations from God.

Loving God:
Are
You Friendly or Frigid:
This class addresses how to be a welcoming, friendly church?
Ensure that members coming in the front door do not exit
out the back and side doors.
Speak
to My Heart II:
Now that you are speaking to my heart, learn how to treat
my feelings so you don’t mis-handle them. Couples
will learn how to listen just as well as talk. (Prerequisite
Speak to My Heart I)
Singles:
Spirituality or Sexuality:
This class will address the challenges of being a sexual
creature and the craving of physical intimacy void of God.
God created sexual intimacy as a pointer not a substitute
for Him.
Singles: His
Rules:
This class is about learning biblically based principles,
not TV show, magazine, psychic and/or friendly based theories
and concepts of becoming and attracting Mr or Mrs Right.

Health
and Fitness II:
It’s not always how much weight you lose or muscle
you gain that matters. This class will teach you the importance
of eating and exercising appropriately to obtain proper
health and fitness.
Managing
the Unmanageable:
This class is for those who are experiencing difficulties
trying to handle or overcome challenges, issues and stresses
on their own! Giants do fall, find out how!
40 Days of Great Sex
This class is intended to help revive and rejuvenate marriages. To qualify for this class you must have and present a valid marriage license.
