Rev. Daniels’ ministry impacts people of all ages, and socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.  Kingdom Church is a vibrant and growing ministry.  In just over three years, there are approximately 3000 members and a number of auxiliaries, such as Financial Fitness, Health and Wholeness, and Kingdom Care, which provide meaningful and relevant ministry to address the diverse needs of the congregation and the community.  At Kingdom Church, Rev. Daniels is equipping his congregation to make a meaningful impact within and beyond the walls of the church. He is the president and founder of Daniels’ Den,a program that provides mentorship to adolescent and pre-teen males, and the Kingdom Community Development Corporation (CDC) which addresses areas such as literacy, poverty and poor health.

“The way you change a community is to change the people in it.”  This is the philosophy of Dharius Daniels, but more importantly it is a principle by which his life is guided.

 

Bishop Rudolph McKissick

Bishop Rudolph McKissick, Jr.

Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr., has been Senior Pastor of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, located in Jacksonville, FL since 2000. During his tenure, more than 9,000 thousand souls have been added to the ministry, bringing the active discipleship to over 12,000. Bishop McKissick is uniquely gifted at blending styles of worship from the very contemporary and urban down to the traditional without sacrificing one for the other. The musical blessing and vision of Bishop McKissick, Jr., has resulted in the production of three Word and Worship CDs that have received both local and national critical acclaim, with the project entitled, “The Right Place” debuting at No.5 on the Billboard charts. Bishop McKissick's first book entitled, "Nuggets by Day and Gems by Night" is scheduled for release in April 2009. His second book "God's Got My Back: Insights I learned From Spinal Surgery" will be released later in the year.

 

Pastor Freddie Haynes Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III

For 26 years, Dr. Frederick Douglas Haynes, III has made it his mission to empower changed people to change the world. His message is clear: If Christians are to positively impact the world they must be willing to minister beyond the walls of the church. 

As senior pastor of Friendship-West Baptist Church since 1983, Dr. Haynes leads one of the largest church congregations in Dallas. Under the leadership of Dr. Haynes, Friendship-West has grown from approximately 500 members to over 12,000 members. The church currently has over 50 full and part-time employees and more than 45 ministries that emancipate the oppressed, equip the masses and exalt Jesus Christ. The church has two worship services, two corporate Bible studies, and weekly concentrated areas of study for men, women, youth, children, seniors, singles and married couples.

Pastor R.A. Vernon has committed himself and the church to the economic empowerment of people in the community he serves. Bishop Steven M. Arnold

Bishop Steven M. Arnold

As a prolific man of God with a passion for ministry, Bishop Steven M. Arnold is part of the driving force to a new era in church ministry. Bishop Arnold believes that it is the responsibility of the church to reach out to the lost, hungry and hurting, and to lead them to Christ so that their lives can be transformed. As the Senior Pastor for St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock since 1989, he has lead the congregation from 300 to more than 6,700 members and seen ministry growth abound in evangelism, outreach, and discipleship. "It's not just about the numbers, but about the quality of disciples we are generating," he says. "I strive to impact the lives of every believer entrusted to me so that they might be able to make a difference in the lives of those around them. That is what the church should be about - meeting the needs of others."

 

Bishop Joseph Walker

Bishop Joseph W. Walker
Senior Pastor, Mt. Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church, Nashville, TN

Bishop Joseph W. Walker began his pastorate at Mount Zion in Nashville, TN, with 175 members. Presently, the ministry has grown to over 22,000 and continues to grow at a phenomenal rate of over 1,800 souls per year. Under Bishop Walker’s leadership, Mount Zion's ministry has expanded beyond its original location in the Historic Jefferson Street Corridor to eight weekly services in three locations. Bishop Walker founded the non-profit organization J. W. Walker Ministries, which has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships, through the Dr. Diane Greer Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund, to deserving college students in honor of his late wife, Dr. Diane Greer Walker. Vowing never to abandon the Mount Zion neighborhood, Bishop Walker launched the New Level Community Development Corporation (NLCDC) in 2001. The NLCDC is committed to low-and moderate-income families and to community economic development.
