New D Family: It is your right and duty to vote in this year's Presidential Election! If you don't want another 4 years of chaos and turmoil:
1. REGISTER TO VOTE - You must register by Oct. 5, 2020 in order to vote in this year’s Election.
2. Early Vote (Oct. 14-29) ( Click that link for Early Voting locations. You can early vote at ANY of these locations.)
3. Go to the polls on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020) – You must go to YOUR ASSIGNED POLL on Election Day if you did not Early Vote at another polling location. You can look up your designated voting location (based on the address you used for registration) here. (If you need transportation, contact New Direction via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org)
4. Absentee Ballot: If you would like to vote via absentee ballot, it’s best to do so ASAP. Although, legally, you have until Oct. 27th to make your request. NOTE: There is a chance that absentee ballots might not make it, given all that’s going on with the USPS. Going to the polls is the best way you can ensure your vote will count! But Absentee Ballot is the next best way!
