Our Mission is to EMPOWER and ENGAGE all people to know God through life-changing EXPERIENCES from the inside out.

We envision 3,000 committed disciples transforming Hickory Hill and beyond through faith, love, and justice. By equipping believers to live with purpose, we will foster spiritual maturity, economic empowerment, and social change, making New Direction Christian Church, DOC a hub for transformation. Through worship, discipleship, and service, we will build a Kingdom minded community where people are fully seen, fully known, and fully loved thriving spiritually, financially, and relationally.

Our Pastor and FirstLady Spencer

Dr. Stacy L. Spencer is the Senior Pastor of New Direction Christian Church in Memphis, Tennessee. The Olmstead, KY, native is a dynamic speaker, visionary and author.

His energetic and culturally relevant messages address the spiritual growth of the individual and issues in society. He has a passion to teach Kingdom living to equip people with biblical guidelines and practical resources that can transform their lives and the world.
